Course title: Line of Duty Act Benefits
Course number: LODA1110
Course description: This course will meet the requirements under § 9.1-407 of the Code of Virginia that specifies all law-enforcement or public safety officers must receive training concerning the benefits available to them or their beneficiaries in case of disability or death in the line of duty.  This course is based on a model lesson plan developed by the Department of Criminal Justice Services.
Prerequisite(s): Students below the rank of sergeant must be enrolled by a supervisor.

Course Requirements
Introduction: This course is comprised of one training module containing one section (class).

Students will not receive any in-service credit for completing this complimentary course. 


Requirements: Students must listen to the narrated course material and read the handouts contained in the training class. Since no in-service credit is awarded for completing this class, there is no module quiz.
